Individualized Learning Model
The Individaulized Learning Model hits the crux of an issue many students grow up discussing: they wish they were taught in a way that worked better for them. Similarly styled to existing Individualized Education programs (IEPs), this model emphasizes the importance of having enough support for students, whether they are visual learners, hands-on learners, or anything in between.
A lack of understanding can lead to misidentification of needs for our students, and often, more teachers or teacher support can serve students well. Students learn best when addressed directly, and this model targets that root issue.
This model emphasizes the importance of the student-to-teacher ratio and helps serve school districts that have a higher amount of students per teacher. While they will be the perfect fit for this model, any school struggling to identify certain students needs/learning styles or otherwise should consider this.
