Why NJ Pre-K?

New Jersey ranks top nationwide for education. But we also have one of the country’s largest wealth gaps, Abbott preschools amongst others are losing students, and pre-pandemic scores aren’t being replicated. As a result, children statewide miss out on opportunities they deserve just as much as the most supported in the state.

The Process

Here at NJ Pre-K Forward, we use proven education models with school districts to improve quality of education for students and teachers alike.

Interested investors shall choose to fund school districts, who in turn receive funding to implement an education model.

These education models are designed to improve student knowledge retention and understanding, resulting in:

1. Increased performance in Kindergarten using a crafted assessment score.

2. A reduction in enrollment in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL) necessity by more efficient assessment of students.

3. Increased NJSLA statewide assessment scores in the Third grade.

Only after success in these metrics will investors be returned their commitment to these schools under a “pay-for-success” repayment plan. This is coordinated with a separate state fund.

The result is lower long-term costs, individual student needs met more often, and increased enrollment as a more attractive option to parents.
